Osprey has been developed to address the problem of hash washing, which is a bottleneck in commercial processing operations. • Efficient Water Management through Quick Clamp Sanitary fittings facilitate the efficient filling and draining of the machine.

  1. Connect your filtered water line right through a sanitary fitting on the sidewall, adding a valve for an easy and secure way to fill the wash vessel with water.
  2. Feel free to use a pump of your choice to move water from the drain bucket back into the Osprey, or out into a drain.
  3. The drain is just right for 32-gallon buckets or wash bags, but you can also use 20-gallon buckets on casters if you prefer!

• A monolithic billet aluminum impeller with smooth ridges that is hard-anodized for food grade operation

  • It does not mince or blend the material, but rather washes the trichome heads off the stalks while softly but completely mixing the substance. The desired hand-washing, full-melt effects are mimicked here.
  • In addition to giving us a perfectly balanced impeller, the Lightweight Monolithic Impeller significantly increases the life of the motor, transmission, seals, and so on. The impeller is protected from oxidation and has a coating that is harder than steel thanks to strong anodizing.

  • An optional “Nest” can be added to any order. The low-profile stainless steel Recycle Reservoir holds up to 85 gallons of water and has a sloped base for drainage underneath the unit. A pump can return drained/filtered water to the main vessel for recycling or to a sink, floor drain, etc. for waste water.
  • Sieving columns for the Nest Tank are also being developed. All Nest Tanks will support them backwards. These aim to eliminate the hassle of washing bubble bags and the skill needed to remove hash from floppy screens. Drain the wash into a micron-sieving column.
